My name is Janel Setter and I provide online reading intervention services for students.
I specialized in:
-assessing students to identify each specific areas of difficulty with reading
-providing targeted instruction to build the skills they need to overcome issues
-utilizing research-based best practices to build crucial reading skills
Background & Qualifications
I have been a certified English Language Arts teacher in Kansas and Missouri for 10 years, teaching reading and writing to middle school students. A few years ago, I began to specialize in reading intervention from kindergarten through 8th grade. Currently, I am working on my master’s degree as a Reading Specialist specializing in Dyslexia.
I work locally at a small school here in my hometown as the reading specialist, as well as providing online reading intervention for students virtually.

ESOL endorsement
Currently working on my Master’s Degree and Reading Specialist at Kansas State University and will graduate this August, 2025.
